A building that was abandoned halfway in Penang.

So there it stands, an image of urban decay along the blue sea, a monochrome among the rainbow, a reminder of how anything man-made will always rot, but what nature bestows to us will never die. Relived through nature's cycle, but never dead.

The hotel was never completed.

I was in a condo apartment opposite it, and the person owning it was telling us about this hotel and shopping centre which was built nearby recently. Both projects started off at the same time - the shopping centre is already completed, but the hotel, in comparison, looks like it has been cruelly forgotten.

I drew the curtains in one of the rooms, felt my hair stand on end, and ran to get my camera.

So that's how it got here. ;)
